Kulraaj Randhawa turns Rishi Kapoor’s PR

Kulraaj Randhawa
Actress Kulraaj Randhawa was nowhere to be seen after Kareena Kareena and now we hear that the actress has switched lanes. She has shifted gears from acting to public relations. Randhawa will be seen essaying the role of a PR agent Devika Malhotra to Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor in an upcoming flick Chintu ji, which also happens to be Rishi Kapoor’s nick name in real life. The story is about a small town Hadbahedi which is forward looking but survived by honest people. It competes for resources and recognition with a neighbouring corrupt town, Triphala. Hadbahedians believe that they have been totally neglected by the state. They are lead in this endeavour, by Arun, the local newspaper’s proprietor. Things brighten when they discover that Rishi Kapoor was actually born in their village 55 years back and a grand welcome follows. But instead he becomes a nuisance at Hadbahedi and treats the innocent people with contempt. The brattish and obnoxious behavior of Chintuji is in stark contrast to the genial, innocent nature of the townies. In the meanwhile, Devika gets hooked onto Arun (Priyanshu Chatterjee) and their romance blossoms while ruthless Chintu is falling prey to the tempting monetary and political offer made by Triphala. The town by now has started getting the media and government’s attention due to Chintu’s stay in Hadbahedi. However, he continues to play havoc with the lives of the people. Chintu with the tempting offer from Triphala on one side, and Arun-Devika with the townfolk on the other, are at the middle of a see-saw climax, while concurrently, Arun’s past unfolds for the audience. Watch the dearly missed Randhawa share screen-space with Rishi Kapoor in Chintu ji.
