MUMBAI: Actor Vin Rana is proving his mettle with his acting chops. He showcased his versatility by portraying varied roles in shows like Mahabharat, Vishkanya, Kavach and Kumkum Bhagya.
As we know, Vin is making his digital debut with ZEE5’s Poison 2. The actor, who is already known for living a healthy lifestyle, beefed up for his role in the series.
However, it was a difficult decision for Vin to take before taking up the project. The actor was offered two projects at the same time. Along with Poison 2, he was offered a meaty role in Sooraj Pancholi starrer upcoming Bollywood film Hawa Singh. This film is the biopic of Hawa Singh who was an Indian Heavyweight boxer, who dominated Indian and Asian amateur boxing for a decade in his weight class.
Confirming the news, Vin told, “Yes, I have offered both the projects and I thought I would be able to manage both. However, the shooting scheduling was the same and both had very different looks. Hence, I had to choose one. I gave a nod for Poison as the character is very appealing and very different from my past projects.”
