MUMBAI : Star Plus’s Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing extremely well and is topping the BARC ratings every week.

Rupali Ganguly shines as Anupama and what makes the show so great is the ensemble cast which adds a lot of flavor to the show. 

The show has brought forward the story of an extremely strong woman who fights societal and family pressure to hold her identity strong.

Rupali Ganguly is one of the top actresses in the country right now and she is winning hearts with her performance as Anupama. 

While she is getting all the awards and laurels, she still has to deal with people unhappy with the show, negativity and trolls online. 

And sometimes these negative reactions can become overwhelming.

 But Rupali has always had her  own way of dealing with trolls, and here we are taking a look at all the moments Rupali has responded to the trolls.

    Through Reels about the Show:

 She subtly, hinted at a reply when she put a reel with a song and with the line, ‘karte ho kyun tum humari hi batiyan’ but it was the caption that caught everyone's 

attention, she wrote, “No one watches you harder than those who dislike you. Remember to give them a good show!!”

    Standing up for her husband: 

Not just Rupali, but her husband has also been the target of trolls. People would tell him that he was sitting at home, while his wife was out working, but she shut 

the naysayers up and revealed that her husband had taken early retirement.

    Flak over the weather:

She also posted a reel in January when the weather in Mumbai was very confusing to the point that celebrities were getting hate for wearing winter clothes. Rupali had 

a fun take on the trolls. Sharing the reel, she wrote, “Rest of India is experiencing a winter wave, par Mumbai mein thand hai kaha? Shouldn’t we be planting more 

trees and convert our lifestyles into an environment friendly one?” 

    On age shaming and more:

Very recently, in an interview with Etimes, she opened up about the brutal age and fat shaming she has to deal with, but she said that she does not let it affect it., 

She was quoted saying, “I even got comments on social media, "Oh she is fat, she is looking older than Anuj.” " Yes I am older than him in real life. I think he's 

going to be 41 and I am going to be 45. I am proud of it. We play Anuj and Anupamaa on the show and are shown at the same age. Am I not doing 100 percent justice to my 

role?” She went on to hit back at trolls and said, “Let's talk about my work. If you think I am not up to the mark, point that out, I'll work on them.”

Well, it looks like Anupama can handle her own and will speak up when necessary. While she does not react tp the haters and trolls all the time, but when she does it’s 

a moment for sure.
