MUMBAI: Shagun Sharma has impressed viewers with her stellar performances in shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi and Yeh Hai Chahatein, among others. After portraying soft-spoken, docile bahu roles, Sharma took a bold leap of faith by taking on something risky yet exciting — the completely negative character of Pari in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.
While the actress flawlessly portrays the spoiled brat Pari, she has often clarified that she doesn’t resonate with the character in real life, urging viewers not to be influenced by Pari’s actions.

In the recent episodes, the show witnessed the iconic reunion of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii actors Kiran Karmarkar and Sakshi Tanwar, reprising their beloved roles of Om and Parvati.
We contacted Shagun and asked her about her first reaction when she learned about this one-of-a-kind collaboration, she said, "My first reaction was that I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire career — is this even possible? But then I reminded myself, it’s Kyunki, so anything is possible! I was overjoyed because getting to meet and perform scenes with such senior actors was an absolute delight. "
When asked if she followed Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii in her childhood, Sharma said, "I didn’t follow the show thoroughly back then, just a little bit, as I was too young."
Talking about her offscreen interactions with Sakshi and Kiran, Shagun said, "We shot together for only three days, but both of them were extremely humble and kind. Something funny happened during my one-on-one scene with Kiran sir — he played a prank on me! I got so scared that I actually started crying at first, but soon it turned into laughter. He also shared stories about how he used to prank Sakshi ma’am too."
