Last Chance for a ticket at Fame Gurukul

Sony calls it 'India's biggest and most voted daily reality drama.' And now they packed in some more spunk. The channel has now introduced a twist in the tale - 'The Last Chance' at Fame Gurukul. The show will have three of its eliminated contestants coming in with wild card entries. While the channel chooses to keep one of the three a secret, the other two contestants who will be seen back on the show. Also three brand new contestants will be seen on the show, giving it a shot in the arm with some more twist. Mona Bhatt and Kirti Sagatia along with another undisclosed contestant will be seen back on the show. The names of the new contestants are Mona Gadgil, Ravi Tripathi and Sandeep Batra. All three of them have been brought in from the audition stage and had never been disclosed or brought in earlier. The irony of the situation, however is that only three of these six newly inducted contestants will make it to Gurukul and the rest will be left out. Public voting for them starts from Friday, 26th August, 2005. The voting results can be witnessed on next Thursday in the special episode "Aap ka Faisla" There will also be performances by the new entrants and they will bring with them an all-new singing and performance styles. Here's hoping luck for all of them as well as Gurukul. The Last chance entrants will be: Monica Gadgil - She is a Graduate and is now currently learning music from Ustad Dilshad Khan Saab. She has also to her credit a few private shows. Besides music she has a passion for dancing and performing on stage and finally aims become a renowned playback singer. She personally enjoys the Ghazal category in the genre of music. Ravi Tripathi - Ravi who lives in Ajivasan has completed his BA from Lucknow and is presently learning music from popular singer Suresh Wadkar. He has been learning light music for the last 8 years and can play the harmonium extremely well. Sandeep Batra - Sandeep has completed his engineering and is vocal training for the last 2 years. He plays the harmonium and synthesizer with ease. Not only that he has also done a few jingles and sung a Bhopuri song for a remix album produced by Suyojan studios. Kirti Sagatia - He has been undergoing classical training for the past 4 years. He has been learning gujrati folk from his dad, a playback singer since his childhood and also enjoys playing the harmonium. Mona Bhatt - Mona is quiet and soft spoken and her first and last love is her music. She is very emotional about being at Fame Gurukul and has never failed to impress the judges with her consistently good performances. A remarkable transformation in Mona took place after her make over by Adhuna Akhtar of B-Blunt. Infact, she made the most of the advice that came to her from the judges adding a lot of zest to her performance skills. At the time of her elimination Mona had received the 2nd largest votes from the viewers.
