MUMBAI : Comedian Raju Shrivastav who had taken ill and was recuperating in the hospital left the world for his heavenly abode on 21st September leaving his fans and well wishers in shock. The comedian has a massive fan following and his character of ‘Gajodhar bhayya’ was a huge hit. His fans were heartbroken and inconsolable when he passed and many celebs poured in their respects to the star.

Raju Shrivastav had made appearances in many films earlier like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Bombay to Goa, Baazigar, etc and fans loved his comic timing and his witty clean humor. He had performed in various award shows and events in the past. Recently the teaser of Amazon Prime Video’s show Hostel Daze 3 was unveiled and fans were quick to notice the late comedian Raju Shrivastav in it, playing the role of a tea vendor. This made his fans super emotional. 

Fans commented on the teaser and wrote, “Late Raju ji ko dekh ke acha lga.” Another fan wrote, “Raju bhai kaha ho?”One fan commented, “Did I see Raju Shrivastav Sir?” Many added heart emojis next to his name as comments.
