MUMBAI: The second season of Laughter Chef may have wrapped up recently, with Elvish Yadav and Karan Kundrra lifting the winner’s trophy, but the buzz around the show is far from over.
In a recent interaction with the media, actor Aly Goni opened up about what he hopes to see in the much-anticipated third season. Reflecting on the camaraderie and nostalgia tied to the earlier episodes, Aly expressed his desire for a complete reunion of the original team.
“The makers should add another table and bring back Arjun Bijlani and Jannat Zubair. Only then will the family feel complete,” Aly shared warmly.

Fans of the show will recall that while most of the original cast returned for Season 2, Arjun Bijlani was notably absent, and Jannat Zubair made only a brief appearance in a couple of episodes. Their absence was certainly felt by the audience, who missed the familiar dynamics that had made the first season such a hit.
With the third season already in development—something previously confirmed by Bharti Singh and Kashmera Shah—there's growing anticipation that the next chapter might feature a full-circle moment with the entire cast back at the table.
If Aly’s heartfelt suggestion finds favour with the makers, Laughter Chef 3 could be an even more delightful treat for fans, blending laughter, nostalgia, and a sense of reunion.
