MUMBAI: April Fools’ Day is all about laughter, mischief, and playful pranks! Celebrated on April 1st, it’s the perfect time for harmless fun. Keeping the spirit alive, Sony SAB actors share their funniest on-set pranks and behind-the-scenes mischief with their co-stars!
Chinmayee Salvi, playing the role of Sakhi in Wagle Ki Duniya said , “April 1st is the perfect day to unleash your inner prankster and enjoy some harmless fun! On the sets of Wagle Ki Duniya, we love playing pranks on each other. Once, I teamed up with Pariva didi to convince Sumeet sir that an emotional scene had been added at the last minute. His reaction was priceless when he started preparing—only to realize we were just messing with him! The best part of being on this show is that we’re like a real family, both on and off-screen.”
Deshna Dugad, playing the role of Rashi in Pushpa Impossible said, “I always think I’m one step ahead but on April Fools' Day, I stay extra alert because you never know who’s planning the next prank! April 1st is that one day when you can’t trust anything—if someone says shooting is cancelled or lunch is being served early chances are, it's all a prank! Speaking of pranks, we’ve had some hilarious moments on the set! One time, I teamed up with Garima and convinced our director that I had forgotten my lines completely. The panic on his face was priceless! It’s all in good fun, and that’s what makes working on Pushpa Impossible such a joy, even on long shooting days. But honestly, what's life without a little fun?”
Darshan Gurjar, playing the role of Chirag in Pushpa Impossible said , “April Fools’ Day is all about fun, and on the sets of Pushpa Impossible, we never miss a chance to pull off some epic pranks! One time, I teamed up with Naveen and convinced a crew member that his phone was broken by secretly changing his wallpaper to a cracked screen—it took him a while to figure it out! So my only advice is to stay alert and don’t believe anything too quickly! Happy April Fools' Day!”
