MUMBAI : Sony SAB's Shrimad Ramayan narrates the epic story of Lord Ram (Sujay Reu) and Sita (Prachi Bansal). In recent episodes, viewers watched Shatrughan (Samarthya Gupta) being defeated by Luv (Shourya Mandoria) and Kush (Atharva Sharma) when they stopped the Ashwamedha horse. Accepting his defeat, Shatrughan acknowledges their strength before falling unconscious, creating a powerful moment in the story.
In the upcoming episodes, news of Shatrughan’s defeat reaches Ayodhya, causing a concern for Lord Ram. Lakshman (Basant Bhatt) and Lord Hanuman (Nirbhay Wadhwa) begin investigating his defeat, curious about the young warriors behind this bold act. Following Lord Ram’s advice to understand their intentions first, Lord Hanuman tracks down the children, discovering they are Luv and Kush. He follows them to their ashram and realizes they are Lord Ram and Sita’s sons and questions Sita if he should inform Lord Ram about the same.
Nirbhay Wadhwa, who plays the role of Lord Hanuman in Shrimad Ramayan, said, "Lord Hanuman’s devotion to Lord Ram and Sita goes beyond duty; it's a sacred bond. To realize that the brave young warriors who defeated Shatrughan are Lord Ram's children brings immense joy and pride to Lord Hanuman and portraying this scene was a deeply emotional moment for me. This scene captures the beauty of destiny and the strength of family ties, and I feel honored to bring this moment to life for the audience."
