Young lad Mahesh Tanwar, who essayed the role of Utpal Trilokchand Pethawala in Zee TV’s Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi celebrates his birthday today (1 February), and wishes that the New Year springs up new surprises for him.

Well, the actor who was last seen in Zee TV’s Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi is missing the good old days of shooting with his team on the show.

For Mahesh, Tum Hi... has been a great learning experience, considering that it was his first show on TV.

Now, he is on the lookout for another challenging role, which will take him to the next phase of success.

Ask him about the kind of roles that entice him, and he says, “Well, I love the action-packed roles, as I am a fitness freak and have a body apt for such roles. Having said this, I will enjoy doing the serious roles, as I feel they are meaty.”

After Tum Hi Ho... Mahesh has been busy with print ads. However, the actor who has been trained in acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute is rearing to go, and is busy giving auditions.

“Yes, I am looking forward to my next project on TV. But my final destination will be movies,” avers the actor.

Mahesh who is basically from Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, is happy that he has made friends for life in his co-actors from Tum Hi Ho Bandhu...

“I miss going to the sets of Tum Hi Ho.. as the ambiance was so very good. We were one big family. We had a whatsapp group where we used to be active when the show was on air. That group remains active even today, and we have managed to stay in touch. We decide and meet up when we are free,” he explains.

Finally, ask him about his wish list this birthday, and he quickly states, “A role where I have a lot to do.”
