MUMBAI: Mahhi Vij is a well-known star in Indian television, having captured the hearts of many with her captivating demeanor, acting skills, and stunning appearance. She dominated her career by appearing in numerous A-listed shows, including Laal Ishq, Balika Vadhu, Teri Meri Love Stories, and Tujhse Lagan. She is the wife of actor Jay Bhanushali, with whom she has a daughter, Tara. The pair is also foster parents of the caretaker's children Khushi and Rajveer.

In an interaction with the popular news portal, Mahhi Vij talked candidly about an early time in her career when she was misled to a wrong audition. She described the circumstances and disclosed how someone posing as a shooting coordinator called her about a possible opportunity. Mahhi was astonished to see that the man intended to rope her in for the casting couch and even requested her to make a rate card for herself, even though she had promised to visit him someplace in Juhu.
She stated, “Woh humein album mein photos dikha raha hai aur fir rate card dikha raha hai. Fir usne bola idhar aapki photo lag jaaegi aur aapka rate card ban jaaega. Maine kaha, negative nahi sochte hain toh maine kaha pucha per day shoot karenge, uska hai? Usne kaha nahi nahi, rate card, aap cruise pe jaaoge, toh maine kaha performance ke liye, usne kaha nahi nahi, aap samjho naa.”
Mahhi Vij then recalled how her sister and she were pushed back to reality by the man's comments, and they realized what he meant when he spoke about the opportunity. The actress recalled how, while seated in the passenger seat of the vehicle, her sister had immediately grabbed the man's hair. With all of their power, the two of them got out of the car and never got in contact with the person again.
Previously, Mahhi Vij talked candidly about her prolonged wait to become a mother in an interview with a renowned newspaper. The actress said that she had undergone rigorous IVF treatments for three years, all of which had failed horribly. She took a break and tried IVF once again when she was 36 years old, and that's when she became pregnant with her twins. Unfortunately, Mahhi lost one of the twins, and Tara, her daughter, was born as the surviving twin.
Jay Bhanushali previously revealed that none of the invited guests attended his wedding to Mahhi Vij in a conversation while serving as the host of India's Best Dancer 3. The actor explained the likely cause, saying that people thought he was a Cassanova and didn't believe he would truly get married because he married Mahhi after just three months of a relationship.
He said, “Unko doubt lag raha tha ki main itna bada casanova hun, ye itni jaldi shaadi kaise kar sakta hai.”
