Major waterlogging & short circuit damage TV, Biwi aur Main sets

The team of Shashi Sumeet Productions’ TV, Biwi aur Main were in tears after seeing the sets submerged in water.

On Monday morning, when the cast and crew reported on the sets they witnessed major waterlogging due to which the production house had suffered damages.

According to our sources, the leads of the show Shruti Seth and Karan Veer Mehra’s make up room were logged with water. The laptop that Karan purchased a few days ago, was found floating on the water.

Everything including furniture, lights, costumes and wooden flooring were damaged. There was a minor short circuit as well but nothing major occurred and everyone was safe.

When we got in touch with the show’s producer Sumeet Mittal, he shared “Thankfully the situation was under the control. We were well prepared with the arrangements but there was flow of water that entered from the backward area due to which the sets were flooded. It was much unexpected but, I’d like to thank my hardworking and dedicated team who were there to help. They flushed out the water from the sets and solved the issue fast.  They really worked hard for the entire day and they resumed their shoot during the night.”

Actor Karan Goddwani, added, “It was a very sad moment to see our set in such a bad state. Thankfully the matter was resolved soon. The BMC guys were quick and helped to suction the water from the sets. The team used buckets to remove water.”

The TV, Biwi aur Main is one of the most watched and cherished comic shows that airs on SAB TV. With the sudden predicament the production company incurred losses yet they were brave enough to put up a brave face and resume shooting without much delay. That’s what we mean when we say The show must go on! Keep up the spirit guys!
