After the dawn of the New Year, here comes the first festival of the year in the form of Makar Sankranti, the kite flying festival that is to be celebrated on 14 January (2013).
This is the festival when people come out with designer kites and fly them to their merriment. When the whole of India celebrates this festival, can television shows stay out of this kite flying festivity. Director’s Kut’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, on Star Plus, will be witnessing the celebration of Makar Sankranti.
Our source informs us that after Naitik (Karan Mehra) regains consciousness and Naksh (Shivansh Kotiyan) tries to accept his father, both Naitik and Naksh start bonding well. Then on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the family members decide to have a kite flying competition amongst them. This is the time when a high-end drama is expected to take place. On the other hand, Varsha’s (Pooja Joshi) family will be celebrating Sankranti at their place.
When we contacted Pooja Joshi, she confirmed the news by saying, “Yes, we are celebrating Sankranti in the show.”
