Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari who was last seen as a host on Gajendrra Siingh's Chak De Shehar Di Kudiyaan Te Galli De Munde is all set to host Gajendrra Siingh's new show, titled Sur Sangram , slated to go on air in January on Bhojpuri channel Mahua. Informs a source, "Sur Sangram is a zonal war between 24 contestants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. There will be 12 contestants each from both regions. The show will be hosted by Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari. Gajendrra Siingh has roped in Malini Awasthi and Kalpana to adjudicate the show. The two girls were seen as participants in Junoon which aired on Imagine and both of them represented Mati Ke Lal , one of the three teams on the show. Malini Awasthi was also one of the three finalists of Junoon . Shooting for the show will begin from 13 January 2009." When contacted, Manoj Tiwari confirmed that he would be hosting the show, but refused to divulge any details. He said, "Yes, I am doing the show but I am not in a position to comment on anything else." With the Bhojpuri superstar making his mark as host on a Bhojpuri channel, there seems to be a double bonanza in store for viewers in 2009.
