MAX's Maha Movies are getting ready to woo the viewer in a completely new style.
Starting this month, audiences can catch the main cast and crew of the Maha Movies as they go behind-the-scenes, sharing interesting tidbits about the making of the film, anecdotal incidents and much more. Popular RJ and television anchor Manish Valicha will add his own style of humour and fun to the Maha Movies. If fans of Mandira Bedi, who did the job earlier with her Extraa Shots in between the Maha Movie, are going to be disappointed by her disappearance, there's some consolation. Oomphy Mallika Sherawat will be there, guiding the viewer through the making of the first Maha Movie this month - Murder.
The 2004 super hit will be aired on 14 May, 2005 at 9 pm.
Commenting on this unique initiative, Albert Almeida, Executive VP and Business Head, MAX said, "MAX reflects the passion of a cinema-crazy nation. MAX is known for its inimitable style of presenting movies. I am sure the viewers will enjoy the new Avtaar of Maha Movies on MAX which is in keeping with our stated promise: Deewana bana de."
Commenting on this unique presentation, Mallika says, " It will give a distinct flavour to watching movies." Imran Hashmi says, "A new concept is always welcome."
Incidentally, Mallika seems to have taken to the telly in a big way. First, she's poised to make an appearance in Sony's Batliwalla House No 43, and will also make a special appearance on Star One's Sarabhai vs Sarabhai next Monday. Get ready for a full dose of Mallika on telly in the next few days!
