Meet the birthday boys: Vikrant Massey and Ankit Narang

Here comes a story on birthday boys. Vikrant Massey, who played Murli in Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo on Imagine, and Ankit Narang, who plays Manan on Tum Dena Saath Mera on Life OK, shares their birthday on the same day, 3 April 2012. Vikrant, who is currently shooting for the film, Lootera, is spending some quality time with his friends and family in Mumbai on his birthday. “I don’t have any plans as such, just a small dinner with my family and friends. And the best gift that I have received this year is a Swiss Army knife from my parents,” shares Vikrant with Tellychakkar.com. He further avers, “I am a traveler and I have different types of knives, screw drivers, chopper equipments, so this time I have a Swiss Army knife which is very handy. And my friends gifted me perfumes, as I am a perfume geek. Today I am relaxing but tomorrow I will be going to Bangkok to shoot for my film.” The other birthday boy, Ankit, who doesn’t have a penchant for parties, has decided to keep himself busy with shooting. “I have been shooting throughout the day but the people on the sets have been very extra caring today. They did not say a thing although I came a little late today. Till now, they have not cut a cake, but they might have planned something for later in the evening,” says Ankit. But last night, when the clock struck 12, Ankit’s friends “bathed him with cake.” “Cake was all over my hair, head, body, everywhere. When it comes to gifts, my parents gave me a car, Nissan Micra, and it is kept in Surat. I would have loved to be with my family but I was kept busy shooting this year,” he ends.
