UTV Bindass is known to come up with interesting reality shows especially for the youth. And to join the bandwagon, Dream Ride zooms on to your television screens tonight. The show will only common contestants and won’t have celebrities unlike most reality shows. According to a source, the first few episodes will entirely concentrate on the performances of the contestants.
Interestingly, the show is produced by Milind Soman, who earlier made Ghost Bana Dost and Getaway, a reality show on filmmaking on Sony Pix. Hence, it’s strange to find the celebrity quotient missing. We tried to contact Soman but he remained unavailable for comment.
Speaking about the show, it is a bike reality show with seven biker couples (14 contestants) on a journey. The partners will be chosen through a challenging task that will be aired in the first episode tonight. The show would be hosted by Sid, who was earlier part of Sid Vs Varun and is now hosting Shiamak Davar’s Bindass Street Dance, both on Bindass.
If you find the concept of Dream Ride similar to Roadies, then you just might be wrong. The show deals with couples on a bike ride, facing the unseen challenges and interdependent tasks for survival. It is a hard core reality show and is a good platform for bikers. The ultimate ‘Biker Couple’ would win a Yamaha FZ bike.
