Mohit Malhotra to host Star Plus' India's Dancing Superstar

Dance reality shows seem to be turning out to be a fad on the numero uno channel, Star Plus. Yes, for soon after Nach Baliye 5, the channel is working towards their upcoming show Shriman Vs Shrimati in which real life couples will compete against each other. However, the end of this show will not call for any break from the “dancing acts”. For soon after this, the channel will come up with another dance reality show India’s Dancing Superstar (Trompe L’oeil Productions), where there will be no barriers in terms of age or dance forms and one can participate in a group or perform solo. As reported earlier, Riteish Deshmukh, choreographer Geeta Kapur and Ashely Lobo have been roped in to judge the show. However, the latest is that after having auditioned some well known TV faces (Karan Wahi, Karan Kundra, Arjun Bijlani amongst others), the production house has finalised the Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada star Mohit Malhotra to host the project. When we contacted Mohit, he said, “Yes, I have auditioned for it but haven’t received a confirmation from the production house yet.” Keep reading this space for more updates…
