Mrs and Mr Allahabadwale makes way for Mrs. Tendulkar

TellyChakkar had reported about Hats off’s new show on SAB TV named Mrs. Tendulkar with Deven Bhojani’s comeback as the lead. Also that the makers were pitching for the prime time slot for the show. Now the most interesting bit being that Deven himself plays the role of Mrs. Tendulkar in the show. Mrs. Tendulkar has been slated for the prime time slot of 9.30 pm and will premeire from January 31 on Mon-Thurs. Currently Sab TV airs Mrs and Mr Allahabadwale at 9.3opm which will be then eased out. Informs a source, “The buzz is that Mrs and Mr Allahabadwale will be pulled off air as it is not able to fetch decent TRPs since almost two months now. The show has struggled because of the big ticket shows running on other GECs in the same time slot. Also scheduling it on another time slot is difficult for the channel.” Confirming his role Deven Bhojani says, "When JD approached me for Mrs. Tendulkar I just couldn’t refuse as they are like family for me. We have done some fantastic work together in the past and now we are back once again to create the same magic.” Rajesh Kumar and Divyanki Tripathi remained clueless about Mrs and Mr Allahabadwale’s destiny. Anooj Kapoor, Bussiness Head, SAB TV says, “We will come again with Mrs and Mr Allahabadwale’s second season.”
