Kumkum Bhagya, made under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, recently completed its eight years. It initially starred Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha in their lead roles.
Soon after quitting Kumkum Bhagya, Shabir will play the role of Mohan in an upcoming show titled Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. The actor will be paired opposite Neeharika Roy, who will play Radha. She has been seen on shows like Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Keeri Nagpure will essay the role of Tulsi. She is well known in Marathi film industry and played Siddhi in the serial Parichay.

The concept of the show is based on love and how the universe is helping lovers unite!
It is set in spiritual location of Vrindavan. Radha is a sweet girl who is madly in love with Mohan. He is a heartbroken and ruthless person.
Mohan was initially very cheerful and happy but is trying to cope with the death of his wife, Tulsi.
Meanwhile, Radha’s love for Mohan is unconditional as she is expects nothing from him. Her love for Mohan remains unchanged over time. It will be shown that Radha and Mohan meet after many years. She is shocked and decides to bring him back to his old avatar. She will find a way to win Mohan’s heart by saving Gungun (reportedly Mohan and Tulsi’s daughter) from a few mishaps.
Tulsi feels Radha will be perfect to save Gungun from all the evil plans of Damini, Mohan’s fiancée, Kadambari, and his step-mother.
It is believed that Tulsi will play a major role in Radha and Mohan’s reunion.
