MUMBAI: Garry Gill opened up about his journey into the world of casting, he says, ''I was yet another dreamer in Punjab when an ad on Quickrr forced me to undertake the journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai. I came to Mumbai and started working as an associate..I slowly learned all the little details of casting and then there was no looking back...It's been 5 years into casting and I have grown as a casting director and all the credits goes to hard work and struggle behind it.''

On his own venture Garry Casting Company, ''My main aim behind launching this company was to find faces who are true to their craft..who have fewer sources but lots of talent. Our main task is to provide people with lesser reach a platform where they can flourish as actors. We have given break to plenty of actors like Manul Chudasama in Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Ravan she was cast as the lead..then Sonya Ayodhya was also my discovery as the negative lead for the show Nazar..Pranav Kumar for Molkki and the list goes on.'' 

He continues, '' There are many in this industry who have made Casting a 'Business' but I am here to prove them wrong..its a profession and should be treated as one. An actor has to go through many hardships by such 'business mongers' but we want to make it easy for them..we only require true dedication and talent from the actor.. industry is full of opportunities for genuine seekers.'' 

Garry says, ''I am always in the search of fresh faces which are full of promises.. recently I launched child actor Kartavya Upadhayay in Chiku Ki Mummy Dur Ki and it always feels wonderful to help those around you.'' 

He signs off, '' I have many dreams in my eyes but I am in no hurry..I want to cherish whatever life gives me.''
