Must Read! Is Shakti actress Kamya Panjabi planning to shift base to Delhi? Details inside

Kamya Panjabi is in a long-distance marriage. In an interview, she spoke about her future plans.

MUMBAI: Kamya Panjabi is one of the most popular actresses in telly town. She has been part of several shows and won the heart of the audience with her performance. Currently, she is seen in Shakti- Astitva ke Ehsaas Ki.

On the personal front, Kamya recently bought a new house in Delhi. The actress is understandably excited about her new home. Talking about it, she said to Times of India, “My husband (Shalabh Dang) has bought this house for us. I am happy about having a huge balcony because usually we don’t see that for houses in Mumbai. The interiors are almost complete and the house will be fully ready in a few days.”

The actress is currently staying at her new home and spending quality time with her husband for a few days before she resumes shooting. Despite being in a long-distance marriage – Kamya lives in Mumbai because of her acting commitments while Shalabh lives in Delhi due to his corporate job. Talking about the same, she told the daily, “We knew from the beginning that this would be a long-distance marriage because I have to shoot continuously and he has his work in Delhi. We were prepared for it. I am passionate about my work and want to keep working. Shalabh knows about my love for acting and always says that we are just a few hours away by flight. We are fine with this set-up and have no complaints.”

She added, “We are now at that age where we have seen a lot of ups and downs and understand what a marriage requires. In fact, long-distance is exciting because when I get two days leave, I want to run and meet him, so the excitement and spark is always there,” said Kamya. When she was asked if she plans to shift base to Delhi in the future, she said, “We have our own houses in Mumbai and Delhi. Whenever we feel like staying in Delhi, we can stay there or come to Mumbai. Maybe in the future, we might shift to Mumbai permanently, but at this point, we haven’t decided anything. We are not planning to sell our Mumbai home or shift base to Delhi as of now. When my show Shakti ends and before taking up a new project, I may spend a lot of time at my Delhi home. Even last year during the lockdown, I was in Delhi with my in-laws. We are happy to shuffle between two cities.”
