MUMBAI: Balaji Productions is known to bring out different concepts on television and somewhere, Ekta Kapoor has understood the pulse of the audience well.

One of the shows under its stable was Bade Ache Lagte Hai, a show on Sony TV which was based on the Gujarati play Patrani by Imtiaz Patel. Sonali Jaffar blew everyone’s minds by presenting a story featuring the industry’s most talented faces – Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar.

Ram, a business tycoon, is forced to marry Priya, a middle-class woman. Later, they fall in love with each other but have to face many obstacles to stay together. Tellychakkar.com has news that this time, the concept of the show will be very distinguished wherein the show will now narrate a story of an older woman paired opposite a young man.

Now talking about the casting of the show, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel are still loved as Ishita and Raman from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show had become a huge hit and Raman-Ishita's iconic jodi won hearts. The show ended in 2019 leaving fans disappointed. Reports say that Ekta might bring back the Jodi with this show. Media reports also suggest that the makers want to see a fresh chemistry and pairing and may rope in Nakuul Mehta instead of Karan.

While the male protagonist of the show is not yet locked, it seems that the makers have already made their choice of the female lead in the show.
