My character Sumer in Piya Rangrezz is quite similar to me: Rehan Sayed

Young and talented actor Rehan Sayed is gradually making a mark in the industry with his roles. Currently seen in Piya Rangrezz (Sphereorigins) on Life OK, the young man has already started grabbing eyeballs of audience with his Sumer act.

Speaking about his journey from Navya to Piya Rangrezz, Rehan commented, “For me my journey has not only been a learning one, but also very creatively satisfying. The characters what I have essayed in Navya and Diya Aaur Baati Hum have enriched me as an actor, while on the other hand, my character as Sumer is more similar to me and relatable”.

Rehan went on to add, “As an actor it is definitely a pleasure that my character is receiving much praises from everyone in such a short span of time. I am getting messages from fans and viewers are appreciating my role.”

Rehan, who is essaying the role of an adopted son of a rural don lady, having illegal trade of alcohol, is one of the most sorted out actors. As we quizzed him about his opinion on dark themed shows on television, he quickly replied, “Honestly speaking entertainment made us almost forgot the dark reality. But, thanks to some films and shows that people are again getting the chance of watching those stories once again. And gradually such shows are on rise these days.”

So, do you think that your audience can connect with the rural backdrop of the show? And the actor quipped, “Maximum of the audience in our country is from rural background, so I think that they can easily empathize with the characters. And I am sure that they will surely appreciate the plot.”
