MUMBAI: Sony TV’s latest offering Indiawaali Maa highlights that you are never too old to need your mother, even when you have conquered the world. Starring Suchita Trivedi, Sheen Dass, Akshay Mhatre, and Nitesh Pandey as the lead protagonists, the viewers will witness the most endearing story of a mother set on a journey to help her son through difficult times.
The show highlights that a mother imparts the important life skills to a child - whether it is making the first steps, to the basics of eating, reading, writing, and praying. Mother as a teacher is critical for a child's understanding of his environment and no one can overlook the importance of Mother as a teacher.
Akshay Mhatre who is essaying the role of Rohan shares, “A mother in her journey of bringing up the child makes many sacrifices on the way and it is through those instances a child learns to grow up to be sensible, caring, and compassionate towards other human beings. Even though in the show, I am portraying the role of Rohan who is lost in his way and doesn’t know the importance of the mother, but as a person, by now I know that a mother is the first and the best teacher and indeed, the hand that rocks the cradle and rules the world.”

Sheen Dass aka Chinamma speaks up and shares that, “Someone rightly said, God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers. Mother is revered firstly and foremostly than anyone in my life as she always stood by me just like Indiawaali Maa.”
Sucheeta Trivedi, who is essaying the Indiawaali Maa, expresses her love for her mother and share, “My mom is the best teacher to me who guided in every phase of my life and my go-to person. Kaku character is exactly her replica I feel.”
