My smartphone is my lifeline: Avika Gor

Avika Gor

Fame came to her early. From a young age, she posed for the shutterbugs, walked the red carpet and gave speeches at award functions. And she’s still going strong till date.

We’re talking about none other than the vivacious Avika Gor, who wrote a new chapter in the world of Indian television with her indelible performance in the cult show Balika Vadhu. Later, she went on to cast her spell down South, with sensational performances in blockbuster flicks. She also impressed one and all with her performance in Sasural Simar Ka.

These days, Avika on a hiatus from regular work, soaking up the sun and spending quality time with loved ones. And guess what helps her stay connected with her fans – Her smart phone.

“Well, my phone is my lifeline! And it’s always with me and I’m really attached to it,” smiles Avika as she speaks to Tellychakkar.com.

So how connected is she with her phone? “Very much. Besides calling and messaging, I am very active on Instagram and watch a lot of videos on Youtube to stay updated on the latest happenings around the world, especially in the entertainment industry. Let me give you a fun update. My phone has a flashlight and whenever we shoot and face light issues, I switch it on. Now you know how diverse a phone’s use has become in today’s times!”

We agree, Avika. But when you use your phone so extensively, you must be facing battery issues as well? “Yes, it’s a common problem. For me, I tend to be alert and keep my phone charged. Other than that, one has to find means of dealing with battery woes.”

A laadli of her parents, does she ever face issues connecting with them due to phone battery dying out? “Well, what can one do about it! I believe we have all faced situations wherein you wanted to reach out to someone and could not due to the battery being dead. The only option is to be patient and wait for phone to charge. It’s not a great feeling, of course, and does cause some anxiety.”

So would it be nice if your phone’s battery lasted longer? “Definitely! It’s a necessity, especially these days,” ends Avika.

We’re sure all smartphone users would agree with Avika on this. As a matter of fact, there is now a phone that addresses this concern which troubles millions of smartphone owners!

Gionee’s latest launch, the Marathon M5 Plus, comes with a 5020 mAh battery that lasts for 4 days on a single charge. It is the perfect solution for all those dealing with battery woes for themselves or their loved ones! This is one smartphone that’s sure to help users stay #AlwaysInPower.
