Naagin 3 fame Rupesh Kataria roped in for Zee TV’s Brahmarakshas 2

Actor Rupesh Kataria, who rose to fame with Naagin 3, has been roped in for Zee TV’s Brahmarakshas 2.

MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s popular supernatural fiction thriller Brahmarakshas will soon return with season two. The new installment will feature a new starcast and is expected to hit the TV screens very soon.

TellyChakkar exclusively broke the news that the dashing Pearl V Puri and newbie Nikki Sharma will play the leads in the second instalment.

We hear that actor Rupesh Kataria, who rose to fame with Naagin 3 and has also featured in shows like Yeh Hai Chahatein, Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka and Vish, has been roped in for the show.

Our sources inform that Rupesh will play a negative role named Anshul.

Rupesh confirmed being part of the show.

Set against the backdrop of Songadh, Brahmarakshas 2 depicts the journey of an ordinary young girl, Kalindi, whose destiny gets entwined with the evil forces and a drastic quirk of fate has her drawing all her inner strength to combat the evil Brahmarakshas. While the latter garners its strength from kidnapping brides on the day of their wedding and casting a dark spell over the town, Kalindi’s only source of strength is her love for her partner, Angad (Pearl V. Puri). As she navigates and manoeuvres her way through the world of evil and her own ordinary life, Kalindi finds herself fighting a tough battle to protect the people she truly cares for!
