MUMBAI: Namik Paul is the heartthrob of the television industry. He rose to fame with his character in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste as Shravan Malhotra later followed it with Shiv Kapoor in Ek Deewana Tha and then once again he was a part of a supernatural serial Kavach... Maha Shivratri where is essayed the role of Angad.
Post that, he played a completely opposite character to the above ones in Kasautii Zindagi Kay as Viraj. For the first time, he played a negative role and was highly applauded for his performance by viewers.
His pairing with all his co-stars is loved by fans.
Team TellyChakkar got in touch with Namik and asked him what he thinks of social media and how he handles trolls, to which the actor said that when it comes to trolls, the best thing one should do is ignore and to not give them any attention as that’s what they crave for.
He also said that right now, social media is the best thing to have happened as so many people are helping each other through this medium during these tough times of COVID.

Namik said that it also has negative points as social media is about looks, fitness, etc., and in the end, it is how you handle and perceive it.
We also asked Namik whether he would do a reality show like Bigg Boss or KKK to which he said that he is not interested and doesn’t see himself doing these shows.
On his dream role, the actor said that he aspired to do a role that he can relate to. In the supernatural shows, there is so much to give because of the VFX and the many twists and turns in the show.
He further said he would love to do roles where the audiences could connect to him. He doesn’t think about the medium and is open to doing roles in television, OTT, and Bollywood.
Well, there is no doubt that Namik is a good actor, and he will do full justice to any role with his acting chops.
