Namrata Ramsay is currently enjoying playing Dolly in Sony Entertainment’s? Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. She really likes her role as she is acting as a bridge between the parents and the kids in the show. What do we mean? Well, let’s hear it from her. “One side there is Shweta Tiwari (Sweety) and Rupali Ganguly (Pinky) and then comes the kids. I represent today’s generation and in the future, when kids will face any problem they will come to me to seek suggestions,” says Namrata. She also says that she and her husband in the show are very fashion conscious and up-market and “work as event managers.” Furthermore, does she think she will manage to gain due screen space in front of veterans like Shweta and Rupali? “Let’s face it. Shweta is a very popular face and she will be in the forefront. But the production house (DJ’s A Creative Unit) has told me that my character will gain prominence once the show stabilizes, and I trust them. I have already worked with them in Jersey no 10 and Jugni Chali Jalandhar.” Fair enough. She further goes on to rubbish all rumours about Shweta throwing tantrums on the sets. “I have not yet shared much screen space with her but whatever little interaction I have had with her till date, she has come across as a nice person. She also gets along well with everyone else including the director.” Okay. Point taken. And when it comes to Namrata, she enjoys working with other co-stars in Parvarrish. “People say that they like the interaction scenes between me and my father-in-law Rajesh Puri,” says she. Finally, she shares the reason why people like the soap. “My parents and kid tell me they can relate to the characters. Furthermore, the show gives lot of important lessons on parenting without being preach about it. I think that really works,” ends Namrata.
