Navi Bhangu to enter Amrit Manthan

Producer Rajan Shahi’s newest offering Amrit Manthan on Life OK revolves around a royal Punjabi family (Sodhis) which is battling bankruptcy. The lead actress, Amrit (Adaa Khan) is seen making all necessary efforts to maintain the dignity of the Sodhi family. Now, to add more masala to drama, Navi Bhangu – a popular name in the Punjabi entertainment industry – will make an entry in the serial as a parallel lead. Viewers have witnessed that Amrit has decided to marry rich and affluent Adhiraj, who is also impotent, for money, financial security and to prevent Sodhis from getting bankrupt. However, the upcoming episodes will see an important twist with Navi’s entry. He will play the character of Agam Mallik, son of Mahi Mallik. Agam will be aggressive in nature and will hate his father and Amrit. His only motive in life will be to take revenge on Amrit and teach his father a lesson. In the due course of time, Amrit will start liking Agam and as a result, her engagement with Adhiraj will be called off. We talked to Navi Bhangu who went on to confirm the news and said, “I am thankful to Rajanji for giving me this opportunity. The story is very interesting and the character that I am playing is very different. I just hope that people will appreciate my work.” Navi’s entry will be aired on 25 March 2012.
