Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka are married

After dating for more than 10 years, actor Neil Patrick Harris recently got married to his partner David Burtka in Italy. The couple, parents to twins Gideon and Harper, tied the knot Saturday. “How I Met Your Mother” producer and director Pam Fryman officiated over the ceremony, reports eonline.com. "We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family," a rep for Harris said. The couple announced their engagement via Twitter in June 2011 after passage of the Marriage Equality Act in New York.
