Niaa Sharma is 'enjoying her free time' to the fullest

Niaa Sharma
Niaa Sharma who essays the lead role of Maanvi in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (produced by Cinevistaas) has had a hectic shoot schedule over the past few months as the track in the show was centred around Maanvi and her fight against cancer. But now with parallel tracks of Jeevika’s (Krystle Dsouza) personal fight to save her sister’s life opening up, Niaa has got some breathing space. So how is Niaa utilizing the free time? We thought about asking the girl herself. Says Niaa, “This phase of life has been amazing. My mom has come over from Delhi to spend some time with me. We have been shopping quite a lot. As per my mom, I have lost considerable weight and she has been pampering me with great delicacies (smiles).” “The last few months were hectic as I was required for almost all the scenes. But now, I manage to get some time for myself with parallel tracks running. I guess such a phase is necessary for actors as they get time to gather themselves,” states Niaa. Niaa is gung-ho as her birthday is fast approaching (17 September 2012). Talking about birthday plans, Niaa tells us, “Well, mom is already here and I expect my brother to surprise me by coming to Mumbai to celebrate my birthday. I have already got many gifts from mom, so have no idea what’s in store for the birthday. As for my fans, I am sure I will get lot many cards from them. I usually decorate my room with the cards I have got and this year will be no exception.” Niaa, may you have a jolly good time on your birthday..
