MUMBAI: Here we bring you an update from SAB TV’s comedy drama Madam Sir!
TellyChakkar has learnt that actor Yashkant Sharma, who played the role of constable Cheetah Chaturvedi, had quit the show a few months ago. The reason for quitting is not known to us.
However, we hear that actor Priyanshu Singh, who is known for his stint in Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya, has replaced him.
The actors of Madam Sir are expected to begin shooting from 23 June post the lockdown of three months.
We could not get through actors for a comment.
Madam Sir's story is a police investigation comedy which revolves around how an all-female cop station, Aminabad Police Station, uses their intelligence and bravery to solve cases.
The lead role of Inspector Hasina Mallik (S.H.O) is played by Gulki Joshi and the role of the Sub-Inspector Karishma Singh is played by actress Yuktii Kapoor. The role of Pushpa Singh (head constable) is played by actress Sonali Naik who was last seen in Colors’ Gathbandhan and the character of Santosh Sharma (lady constable) is played by Bhavika Sharma who was last seen in Star Bharat’s Jiji Maa serial.
