Nishant has been approached to play the lead in this Balaji soap. Furthermore, Nishant quit Ram Milaayi Jodi in order to pursue his Bollywood dreams. And currently, he is busy shooting for his first Hindi film. However, his stint with television is far from being over. Our sources whispered in our ears that Nishant was the first preference of the channel and the production house to play the lead in the show. And if all goes well and everything fits the bill, Nishant will get the green signal. Now, Nishant has been offered to play a role of a Punjabi guy who is settled in Chandigarh. He will be a typical Punjabi munda. As earlier reported by Tellychakkar.com, the show is inspired from the Shah Rukh Khan starrer classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge. But there is also a masaledar twist in the plot. There will be a love triangle wherein two girls will fall in love with Nishant and he will love one of them. Our sources also confirmed that Nishant has already given the look test.
