The search for India’s future leader begins on 8th December as Star One and the Times of India present ‘Lead India’, a reality show with the objective of giving the country its next generation of leaders. Hosted by Anupam Kher, the show will have a jury comprising of<em> Javed Akhtar, Kiran Bedi</em> and<em> Vikas Singh</em>. The contestants will compete through a series of 10 episodes and the winner will be awarded a sum of Rs. 50 lakhs for their dream project.

Commenting on the launch of Lead India, VP, Marketing and Communications, Prem Kamath said, “A joint effort by the Times of India and Star One, ‘Lead India’ is a concept presented for the first time on Indian Television. It is a show that transcends merely entertainment. It is a show that could potentially impact the very future of a nation by giving her its chosen leader. “

‘Lead India’ begins 8 December at 8 p.m. on Star One and a simulcast on Star Utsav.
