There is now some sad news for fans of Swaran Ghar. The show that made a place in the hearts of viewers, is now coming to an end. Yes! You heard that right. The show began on February 28th 2022 and is now wrapping up on 11th November.

In just 9 months, the show will go off air. A source close to the show told a news portal, “We haven’t been informed about the last date of the telecast yet. Around 10-to-15 episodes are to be shot and we are expecting to wrap up the shoot by next week. The decision to pull the plug on the show has been quite surprising, as it was consistent on the rating chart. In fact, there are other shows generating lower ratings. The channel could have changed the time slot if they were planning to replace Swaran Ghar with a new show.”

Sangeeta who has been part of popular TV shows like Viraasat and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, among others, had made her comeback to Swaran Ghar after nearly 2 years of being away from TV.

During the launch of the show, an excited Sangeeta had said, “After Divya Drashti and Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, in which I played a negative role, I wanted to get back on a positive note. I am blessed that a lot of shows were offered to me during the pandemic and work kept coming to me but I refused many shows for whatever reasons when Swaran Ghar was offered, I fell in love with the simplicity of the show, the characters and the very realness of storytelling. It is not overdramatic. The emotional quotient of the show is very high and there’s a lot of hope in the show and wishful thinking.”
