The show's plot is quite interesting at the moment, as the narrative focuses on Anupama's new life and how the Shah family is against her. Baa and Vanraj are finding ways to humiliate Anupama as their hatred for her grows. Despite all of these obstacles, Anupama is standing strong and shining through.

In the current track though we see that Samar and Nandini are on the verge of breaking up because Kavya has brainwashed Nandini into breaking up with Samar. But Anupama is adamant about it not happening. And amidst all this, we see that to go out his anger Samar dances in anger.
Paras Kalnawat who plays Samar in the show posted a behind-the-scenes video of him rehearsing and it has fans in awe of his dedication.

In 2017, Kalnawat began his television career as Dhruv in Aye Zindagi. In July 2017, he played Sanjay Singh Ahlawat in Star Plus' Meri Durga opposite Srishti Jain. Later, he was cast in Mariam Khan - Reporting Live as Rehaan Thakur.
He portrayed episodic roles in Kaun Hai? and Laal Ishq. In 2019, Kalnawat played Shivam Noon in ALT Balaji's Dil Hi Toh Hai 2. He also played Faraz Sheikh in the web series Ishq Aaj Kal and reprised his role as Shivam in Dil Hi Toh Hai 3 in early 2020.
Kalnawat has been playing Samar Shah opposite Anagha Bhosale in Anupamaa since March 2020. Due to the show's immediate success, Kalnawat has become a household name.
