In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Pallavi mentioned her journey on television and her struggling period while trying to make a comeback.

Pallavi said, “I had taken a break and put acting on a backseat as I had to focus on my family life. My kids were very young then and after a long break I resumed back with Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. There is hardly a gap of a few months between my children and I remember having the kids by my side but I watched television 24 hours. I really missed my career. I used to keep seeing what television shows are coming and who are getting cast. I did not know if I would get an opportunity again in the acting space or not, but I just wished that I would get back soon.

After Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki too, I kept taking on and off breaks but it was after Kulfi Kumar Bajewala that I have not stopped working. My kids had grown up by then and after that Shubharambh happened to follow my Pandya Store.

Shedding light on having a difficult time making a comeback Pallavi mentioned, “ I had a lot of problems making a comeback to acting. I was rejected and it took me almost one and a half years to fetch work. When I made a comeback, I cried because I was not getting work. I was ready to take up any role, just so that I can kick start the shoot life. I used to live in self doubt that I may not be good or talented.”
