Papiya Sengupta to play Karan Kundra’s mother in & TV’s next

Talented actor Papiya Sengupta who essayed the role of Madhu Dobriyal in Ekta Kapoor’s successful show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani is excited to be back to the Balaji family. The lady who has of late been busy with episodics will be taking up a daily soap post her stint in Main Naa Bhoolungi. She now gets back with a lot of vigour and of course, a changed look. The lady has lost oodles of weight, and looks the best now. Papiya has been roped in to play the main lead, Karan Kundra’s mother in Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming show on & TV. As per sources, “Papiya will play the role of Kundra’s step-mother who will love her son to bits and pieces. The fact that she has taken the place of her best friend, and gone on to marry her best friend’s husband (Kundra’s father) post her death, will speak volumes about the lady’s positive approach towards life.” We hear that the makers plan to create a great mother-son bonding between Papiya and Kundra’s characters. When contacted, Papiya confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com that she is part of the show, but did not want to get into details. Tellychakkar.com has already exclusively reported about Saanvi Talwar playing the lead girl opposite Kundra. As reported, Vineet Kumar, Kajal Pisal will be part of the show.
