Tellychakkar.com earlier in the day reported about Bollywood beauty Amrita Puri been roped in to play the lead in Star Plus’ new project.
The finite series produced by Fortune Productions will be a courtroom drama and will also in most probability have Sakshi Tanwar playing a pivotal role.
Now our sources have shared that talented actor Pawan Shankar has been signed in as the lead of the project. The drama will be an exciting project with a lot of thrill and romance added to it.
Shared a source, “The lead role demanded a seasoned actor who has a great screen presence and could pull off a challenging role with ease. Pawan fit the bill perfectly.”
The actor was last seen playing Mona Singh’s husband who cheats on her in Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada.
Pawan has already signed the contract and with other casts being decided upon, the show will soon go on floors. It is expected to hit TV screens sometime by end of July.
We tried reaching Pawan and producer Farhan Salaruddin but they remained unavailable to comment.
