MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s popular Supernatural fiction thriller Brahmarakshas will soon return with season two. The new installment will feature a new starcast.
Early in the day, we broke the news about Sasural Simar Ka fame Nikki Sharma is most likely playing the female protagonist in the new installment (Read here: Sasural Simar Ka actress Nikki Sharma to play the lead in Brahmrakshas 2?).
Many popular actresses like Tejasswi Prakash, Niyati Fatnani were in talks for the show. However, it looks like Nikki has struck the deal.
Now, we hear that there will be two male leads in the new season.
According to our sources, makers are in talks with Naagin 3 fame Pearl V Puri and Leenesh Mattoo who is still known for his stint in Ishqbaaaz.
Our sources inform that actors are likely to shoot promo the next week and the show is expected to go on floors by mid of September.
We could not get through Pearl and Leenesh for a comment.
We already mentioned that Brahmarakshas 1 lead Krystle Dsouza may feature in the second season for one or two episodes and eventually welcome the new female lead.
