How do you feel when someone compares you with Divya Bharti?
Of course you take it as a compliment! Isn’t it?
After all, she was one of the BEAUTIFUL actresses of Bollywood. Looking at her innocent face, the boys used to go weak at their knees.
Wondering why do we say these things suddenly?
Well readers, Bengali actress Alivia Sarkar, who is currently seen in Star Jalsha’s Jhaanj Lobongo Phool (Shree Venkatesh Films), often gets to hear that she resembles Divya Bharti.
Alivia shared with Tellychakkar.com, “Many people have told me that I slightly look like Divya Bharti. I feel good about it and take it as a compliment.”
“She was very cute. I feel indirectly people are calling me cute,” she added with a smile.
The young actress also mentioned that she finds some similarities with the late actress.
She quipped, “Divya Bharti was a self made person. Like her, I too have created a place in the industry on my own. I read that she had started her career at the age of 14 and I started when I was 15.”
“Divya Bharti died on April 5, 1993 and I was born on 20 May 1993. I used to joke with the people who had compared me with her saying I am the reincarnation of Divya Bharti,” added the actress humorously.
Interesting observation, girl!
The Bong actress, who loved Divya’s performance in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Deewana, has earlier acted in Bengali dailies like Dui Prithibi, Mon Niye Kachakachi, Thik Jeno Love Story and Bojhena Se Bojhena.
