Piyush Sahdev and Akangsha Rawat to tie the knot on 25 June

Piyush Sahdev, the main lead in Fireworks Productions’ Hum Ne Li Hai… Shapath on Life OK, and actress Akangsha Rawat will soon be getting into marital bliss. Their love story began when Piyush saw Akangsha in one of the look tests. And Piyush’s heroic role in Meet Mila De Rabba touched Akangsha’s chords and she fell for him. Destiny brought them together as they got introduced through a common friend much later. However, the couple took time to take their relationship further, as their views were different (Akangsha was open minded, while Piyush was the tough nut to crack). However, as the saying goes – ‘Opposite poles do attract’!! Piyush soon changed his mind set of not marrying an actress when he fell in love with Akangsha’s way of living and thinking. And now, they are proceeding towards their next phase in life. Piyush and Akangsha will be husband and wife on 25 of June 2012. The wedding will take place at the Iskcon Temple in Mumbai which will be followed by a reception at Delhi, which happens to be the home town for both Piyush and Akangsha. Confirming the news to Tellychakkar.com, Piyush said, “Yes, we are getting married on 25 June. The celebrations will start with a bachelor’s party where my friends as well as Akangsha’s friends will be invited. For a change, we will be having a common youngster’s party to celebrate our last few days of singlehood (smiles). This will be followed by the mehendi cum sangeet, and then the marriage.” We talked to Akangsha also who expressed her happiness saying, “Relationships and marriages in today’s time have become quiet short lived, and honestly I did not have high hopes of finding the right guy or the perfect relationship which will last forever. But when I met Piyush, life changed. He genuinely makes me happy and loves me so much, that at heart for me, it became a commitment for life. Marriage is the next step which we are taking this month.” Interestingly, Piyush and Akangsha shot for the pilot of Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath, and Akangsha was initially finalized to play the lead in the show. But things did not fall in place, as she did not suit the character to the T. We wish the couple a happy married life!!!
