MUMBAI: Actor Piyush Sahadev recently visited Indonesia and says that he had an amazing time. The actor's show Salim Anarkali had been lapped up by the audience there. "It was my first visit to Indonesia and I have got a very good response because my last show Salim Anarkali became very popular here. People here are very loving and warm and I had a very good experience," says Piyush, who was accompanied by Gurmeet Choudhary, Proneeta Swagiary and Heli Daruwala.
The love of the fans was overwhelming, says Piyush. "The moment we landed in Indonesia and got out of the airport there were so many fans who were waiting for us. They jumped on us literally and were taking pictures, talking and appreciating my work. On the day of the event as well there were so many people present there. We had a really good response from the fans there. When I was leaving from the hotel to come back to Mumbai, there were many fans who were waiting outside just to get a picture with me, so it was fun," he adds.
Ask him if language was an issue there, and he says, "It becomes difficult sometimes when you go out of India to another country and you don't know their language. But I didn't find it difficult in Indonesia because most of the people there talk in English, so language was not a problem. Only at times when you go out to a restaurant and you have to explain what kind of food you want to have, that becomes difficult."
