Beautiful and talented Pooja Bedi (seen in Colors’ Bigg Boss season 5) seems to be really interested in women welfare. First she fired her male servant for misbehaving with a female staff. And now she is supporting her masseuse in an apparent case of domestic abuse. She has posted the entire episode on her Twitter handle which read, “Taking my maalishwaali (masseuse) to Bandra police station to lodge complaint against abusive violent Now she is fighting for) husband! The Bandra police refused to lodge her complaint yesterday (he had threatened to kill her & cut her into pieces) IN FRONT of cops! Five days ago her husband attacked with knife..that complaint they wrote! But NOT daybefore hockey stick wielding & yesterdays death threat! Why r horrible&violent abusive men like that not put away? Given repeated chances to attack again & again? What r cops waiting 4? Dead wife? At Bandra police station R.T Thengle very courteous is surprised no report/FIR written!Has asked me to wait for Pawar sir 2 look into matter. Inspector Patil wearing dark glasses walks in..pulls out his gun, empties cartridge of bullets & puts empty gun into holster! To learn more on the incident, we decided to have a chat with Pooja. “The other morning my malishwali, Victoria, told me that her husband was ill-treating and threatening her. I got very angry and immediately drove down to police station and things happened as mentioned above. We eventually went to the senior inspector Mr Shastri finally registered our FIR.” In closing, we asked Pooja about the rumours flying around that she is fighting for the rights of the weaker women just for free publicity. “Clearly they don't care about a woman who has been abused beaten and tortured.... But I do! Those who can, do! And those that can’t, criticize.”
