The reports of Ashnoor Kaur bidding goodbye to Star Plus’ daily Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) has been doing rounds in the media for quite some time now.
As per reports, Yeh Rishta will soon be taking a leap, post which Ashnoor will no longer be a part of the series. Naturally, the hunt for the new Naira began few weeks ago.
And ladies and gentlemen, we hear that the search is finally over.
Begusarai fame Shivangi Joshi will step into Ashnoor’s shoe as the grown up Naira.
According to our source, the makers wanted to cast a young face, who although should look older than Ashnoor, but younger to Rohan. Shivangi being a young yet powerful artist easily fit into the category.
When we contacted Shivangi, the lady stated, “I did give an audition for the role, but have received no confirmation as yet. So, I can’t really comment much on this.”
We have dropped messages to producer Rajan Shahi and the channel spokesperson, but have not received any revert till the time of filing the article.
