Pratham opts out of Rubi

Pratham who plays the mentally challenged brother (Mahesh) in Rubi has decided to quit the show. The actor apparently is not happy with his role in the show and thus the decision. Though Pratham denies the rumours and says, “I am quitting the show because of personal issues. I have some issues at home which need my immediate attention and which I don’t wish to reveal. I am going to put in my papers in the next two days and may have to serve a notice period of a month.” Whereas, a source from the show has a different tale to tell altogether about Pratham’s decision to quit the show. Our source informs, “Pratham was not very happy with the way his role was shaping up. His introduction scene was also chopped which left him disheartened.” Pratham has earlier done shows like Kya Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Kya Haadsaa Kya Haqeeqat and Aap Beeti. He has also done a movie titled Chal Chalein which is slated to release soon.
