Pushkar Goggiaa shares his experience of his first on-screen wedding

Acting gives a great opportunity to actors to play larger-than-life characters and also make them do things that they haven’t experienced yet in their real lives. Something similar recently happened with the good looking Pushkar Goggiaa, who started his acting career with Desh Ki Beti Nandini (Sony Entertainment Television) and is currently also seen in Tumhari Paakhi (Life OK). The young actor was surprised when the creatives of Nandini told him that he would soon have to play a groom in the show. Sharing his ordeal, Pushkar avers, “When they told me about this, I was shocked beyond imagination for never had I thought that my track would lead to a marriage sequence. I was both nervous and excited to don the groom’s attire; my first ever shaadi on-screen (laughs).” “It was a complete fun experience with all the attention being on me. I was in the spotlight with everyone pampering me and the camera focusing on me all the time. It was a completely new experience which I enjoyed to the fullest,” divulges the actor. Also with the team bonding so well, it must have been like a family wedding for them, we wondered. “Of course, we didn’t actually feel like we were shooting but enjoying the wedding of someone close. With lavish clothes and the decorations, it was a wonderful experience. It’s God’s grace that I got such a good team and also got to wed in my first show (smiles),” the actor replies. So will the experience help him in his real life? Blushing, the actor quips, “I am sure it would. We have all grown up watching all the rituals but never really knew the importance of the same. I also got to know about so many customs and rites pre-and post wedding. I am actually looking forward for the airing of the sequence and eager to see how my family would react to it.” We are sure they would be waiting for the real wedding now! (wink wink). The wedding sequence will be aired in the next couple of days.
