TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what drove him in signing the character and how the experience has been working on sets of the show.
What drove you in signing this new project was the story, your character?
Well, I can't say that! Everything about the show was perfect! I wanted to play this character, and the story fascinated me too. I wanted to experience new cultures, traditions, and customs, so I chose to play this role. I found it suitable and challenging to portray a Gen-Z boy in such a well-disciplined family.
What are the challenges you are facing in playing the character?
The biggest challenge was adapting to the body language and mischievous nature of Sufi. Sufi is naughty, returned from London, and flirtatious, whereas Tanish, in real life, is calm and disciplined. The only similarity between Sufi and Tanish is that they both are "Mumma's boys."
How is the environment on the sets, how is your experience working with the co – actors and team?
Blessed to have such great and talented co-actors! All of them are really positive and helpful. I bond most with Dheeraj Dhoopar (Subhaan). It's good to hear their life experiences, especially when you have a learning attitude.
Well, there is no doubt that Tanish has been loved by the audience and his character has become quite popular.
