MUMBAI: Raghav, the actor turned producer and director of "A Day in Our Lives" (Season 3), which began streaming on MX Player on June 13th, shares his journey of becoming a producer and director.
He says, "There was initially no intent of becoming a Producer but since a lot of opportunities were not coming my way for acting, I decided to put all my learnings into one project and became both. There is a lot of content going on in the OTT Platforms, our show revolutionises the entertainment experience given to the ultimate audiences by the speed and the length of the story. A lot of people just want to watch relevant content and something that brings a smile on their faces, our show promises almost every emotion with the most surfaced story yet short enough that it will leave the audiences wanting more.”
He also adds,"My biggest expectation is the reach of the show as the audiences are the best judges of our line of work, we really want people to see and experience this new and exciting series. A lot of the characters are taken from real life so it was not hard. Once you’ve watched the show, you will realise that each and every character has played their role in their own perfection.”
On asking about his future plans, Raghav says, "Future plans consist of bringing the audiences to a new age of entertainment offering more varieties, more genres and less time taking shows or movies. We at GSN firmly believe that in these modern times entertainment should be quick and relatively simple. I always believe in promoting new talents and I am a firm believer of the fact that one’s talent is not always judged by their experience. We try to bring and create modern day content with our Indian values. Our Team is very new but every single person works for a single goal that is making good content.”
